There is a new document under Parents, Notices with updated Facebook safety settings. During December, when many of us were very busy the Facebook company changed the privacy settings on ALL Facebook customers. Even if you had your privacy settings high, they may have been switched to a lower privacy setting. This document is meant to make it easier for you to set your privacy preferences.
While many Marshall students are still too young for Facebook, we recognize the reality that some students have accounts, as do their older brothers and sisters, and their parents--perhaps even their grandparents. This document has been created with the best of intentions, and to the best of our ability. There may be other parts of Facebook that will be added in the future, and the Terms and Conditions can change at anytime, but at this time, we think this document is sufficient. Be careful out there.

There is a new parent newsletter, dated January 2010, downloadable under Parents, Notices. There is a great deal of information enclosed, including MCAS testing schedule.

To All Marshall Parents,
· The next meeting of the Marshall PTO will be Tuesday, January 12th at 7:00 p.m. The main agenda item will be planning for the Student/Faculty basketball game which is scheduled for Thursday evening, February 11th. Please mark that date on your calendars. We anticipate a sellout.
· Also, our latest check from Box Tops for Education was $900.53. Please keep those box tops coming.

The Billerica Food Pantry would like to Thank all the families who contributed to the food drive.
The Marshall students assisted in stocking the pantry’s shelves with over 1200 donated food items.
Marshall Middle Holiday Gift Drive for Teens in Need
- Kicks off Monday Dec 7th -- Wed Dec 16th
- Will be assisting local families to provide needed items for over 108 Billerica Teens
- Hoodie Sweatshirts, Sweatpants, PJ’s, T-Shirts,socks,slippers
- Everyday basics—Shampoos, soaps, deodorants, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair products etc.
